Riad in Marrakech
Ideally situated in the heart of the Medina, close to the secure Royal Palace, this house offers charm and comfort only 10 minutes from the Jamaâ El Fna Square.
Riad Aderbaz offers a relaxing and exotic stay. The house is built around a patio with a swimming pool, ideal for cooling off in the heat of the Moroccan hours.
A wall fountain dominates the small swimming pool surrounded with balustrades. The riad is fitted with two lounges, one of which has a chimney. On the terrace, flowers and deck chairs complete the set.
Great Location, great hospitality. Airport transfer door to door with no fuss, arrange via the RiadWarm welcome, all questions answered, went out of their way to help us book a wonderful Hammam, and even walked us there.Had a dinner one evening in the Riad which was stunning and traditional, likewise with the breakfast. They couldn't do enough for us.Thank you

We couldn't have picked a better riad for both location and service. The owners did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our 2nd floor room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast changed each day (we stayed 8 nights) and was filling. Dinner was so good that although we only planned to eat there twice, we ended up at 4 dinners. Each meal was different and delicious. The rooftop was great in the evening and gave a great star show. The Riad is very close to many of the major sites in the Medina and easily walkable. The owners also were very helpful in sorting through tour options and helped us schedule a fantastic 3 day desert trip.

We stayed here for our last night in Marrakesh, and it was the comfort that we needed. The room was stylish, sophisticated, quiet and convenient. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Jama el Fina square which is very convenient. And very easy to find, tbh it was the easiest accommodation we found throughout our time in Morocco. The luxury is worth the mulla. And the staffs were very attentive and warm welcoming. And the breakfast was absolutely scrumptious.
We've had a wonderful stay in this cute riad. The family who owns it is so very nice and did everything to make our stay perfect. Location is great. Only a few minutes walking to the big square. It is a little bit hard to find at night. But the taxi called the owner and she waited outside to give us a warm welcome with tea and cookies! Breakfast was lovely, even possible glutenfree (some eggs, yoghert and fruit). The rooftop was perfect to relax after walking in the city. We were here in December and it was perfectly nice in the sun (were there every afternoon by ourself). Would recommend a room on the 2th or 3th floor. Standard room is fine, but a lot smaller than the other rooms. Other than that, it was an amazing stay!
The staff was lovely and helpful, the space is beautiful, they have a lovely little pool, a convenient location, and breakfast was good, too! They can arrange a cab to take you to/from the airport, upon request. Hafida was an absolute sweetheart and even took me too the Jemaa El Fna my first night there! Excellent riad, highly recommended!

We stayed here for the first two nights of our week in Marrakech. The riad owner arranged for us to be picked up from the airport which was great; no haggling with taxi drivers after travelling all day long. The driver got us as close as he could to the riad, then walked us down winding alleyways straight to the front door. Thank goodness- we would never have found it in the dark on our own! On arrival we had a warm welcome from the owner; she sat us down in the salon and bought us Mint tea whilst we filled out the paperwork. The riad is gorgeous; it is very tastefully decorated with lots of local crafts and artwork. All of the furniture is beautiful. Our room was very spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathroom spotless. We enjoyed a very nice Moroccan breakfast on both mornings, including m'smenn pancakes, fresh bread, fresh orange Juice and Mint tea. Breakfast is served in the small dining room which overlooks a tranquil pool. We also took advantage of the roof top terrace for lounging in the sun between shopping and dinner!Whilst this riad is within the Medina and only a 7 minute walk from j'maa al fnaa square, its away from the touristy areas and in a much more local area. It felt like we were in real Marrakech. You also have to walk through the gardens of the Koutoubia Mosque on your way to the main square which is a real treat.

This Riad was magnificent! The staff were extemely helpful, friendly and kind! It is in a great location for many attractions. We were at a 10 minute walk from Jamaa-el-Fna, Bahia Palace, Badii Palace and Saadian Tombs. I can't stop describing how amazing the staff was! On our first night, Hafida offered to show us around a bit of Jamma-el-Fna and take us to a place near the square for dinner. For three girls travelling alone this was perfect for making us feel more at ease with this new culture. The room was very clean and secure and the breakfast every morning was great! I would 100% stay here again!
Stony Brook
The staff was friendly and the room was clean and safe. There is breakfast included and it was delicious every day of our stay. The neighborhood is safe and it is within 7 minutes walking distance to the Jemaa el-Fna square. Overall very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this riad!
Dubai
The riad is simply beautiful and the guys working there are so kind and helpful. The neighborhood is safe somehow but Marrakech in general looks a bit scary. It's close to Jmaa El Finaa and some other sights like Saadioun Tombs are within a walking distance. The breakfast is delicious and the room is basic but still nice.
Bari
The Riad is located very close to the old part of Marrakech, walking distance to restaurants, shops and bus service.Hafida was very friendly, accommodating and offered advise on sightseeing and directions on how to get there. Brekfast was ok. We had dinner two times ....the cous cous and tajine were very good

If you've got Marrakesh on your mind, a stay at Riad Aderbaz may be just what you're after. It sure was for us!Our week in Marrakesh at Riad Aderbaz was five star. It began with a comfortable taxi ride to the riad organized by Hafida our host and was soon followed by her warm greeting at the riad. We hadn't organized anything about our trip before arriving, but with Hafida's kind help within an hour of arriving our entire six day trip was planned. She helped us decide what to see and do in Marrakesh, and recommended a couple of day trips outside the city to the Atlas Mountains and to Essaouira. It all worked out splendidly!Pretty pictures on the internet had given us an idea of this riad's charm, but seeing with our own eyes the berber style architecture, colorful tiles, carpets and antique furniture there was no denying our feet were firmly set in the Morocco we'd dreamed about. The traditional style spilled over into our room which was clean, private and spacious. Comfortable beds provided hours of restful sleep and adjustable in-room air conditioning came in handy after scorching hot days walking through the city --as did a dip in the riad's fabulous pool! It was hard for us to believe the quiet inside the riad, especially since a short five minute walk took us to the main Place, souks and kasbah. Places nearly always buzzing with people and activity. Included in the room rate were: breakfast, a gorgeous pool, roof top terrace with lounge chairs and shaded sofas, wifi (free), nice shower water pressure, in-room air conditioning, daily room cleaning and help with planning your trip. On request, and for additional payment, in the riad you can have dinner prepared and take cooking classes which we did.A final few lines for anyone concerned about safety. During our stay the doors were kept locked and someone was at the front desk available to help all day and night. The hosts live next door too.I highly recommend this Riad and would definitely stay there again. Not only was it excellent value for the money, but we felt safe, comfortable and very well cared for by our hosts. Thank you Hafida for such a fun time :):) Sofia B.

Really enjoyed our stay in Riad Aderbaz. On arrival we were welcomed at the bottom of the road by the owner, Hafida who is so friendly, helpful and full of life. On entering the riad we were amazed by the beauty of the building within. We were given traditional tea and biscuits and relaxed as we checked in. Hafida then brought us into the main square and pointed out best places to eat and change money etc. Being two women travelling, she eat dinner with us as we settled into the different culture. We would've been lost without her to be honest! The riad is a 7min walk from the main square. There are little shops and places to eat beside the riad. I would recommended to women not showing to much flesh when walking into the main area.Breakfast each morning consisted of fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, fresh bread and a different cooked item each morning. We did a cooking class to learn how to make tagine with Hafida for free. That evening we had a three course which included what we prepared in the cooking class for 12€ only! Our room was great and was cleaned daily. We would definitely return to stay in riad Aderbaz , it was a greAt experience!

I arrived in Marrakech airport and had a friendly taxi-chauffeur waiting for me to bring me to Riad Aderbaz, this was a good start for a first time experience of Marroco arraanged by Hafida. As we had booked all the rooms for our extended family for a week, it felt like a home away from home the whole week long. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a nice toilet and shower in the pretty traditional style. I liked the homely athmosphere, good breakfasts and delicious meals in the evening that were served if we asked for them. The team in the house was very accomodating and helpful for example to organise day outings or print out a boarding pass.Having the roof terrass and the fresh pool at the ground floor(kids safe) are a great contribution if you want a break from busy town life, that happens just five minutes walk away from the Riad (Jemaa El Fnaa).Discovering the bakery just around the corner where you can get oven warm marrocan bread was great. We had a great week! Thanks to Hafida and all her team in Riad Aderbaz

We booked the whole Riad for a week to spend time with the extended family and had an absolutely amazing time. The property is well located, clean and well maintained, simple but very authentic and comfortable. The host Hafida and her team are very lovely and looked after us as if we were their own family members. It is also very recommendable to eat in the Riad, Aisha cooks great Moroccan meals! The Riad is perfect for families, we were there with three toddlers between 4 months and 2 years. The pool is fenced, just watch the staircases between the three floors. We can only recommend this place and will definitely go back if we get a chance!

I really enjoyed my stay (for six nights) at "Riad Aderbaz". It is a wonderful place in a very quiet area near the Medina. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the breafast was delicious. But the best part about it were the two very friendly owners who will help you with everything you need. All this for a very good value for your money.

This was our first trip to Marrakech...so we really didn't know what to expect in terms of 'hotel' standards. Booked this place on LateRooms after checking TripAdvisor recommendations. Really cheap price...Had the 'small' double on the ground floor, which, although smaller than the other rooms, was perfectly adequate for two normal sized adults. If you are 'big' it probably wouldn't suit, but the other rooms would.Dead easy to find...the Airport bus dropped us at the end of the road (Sidi Mimoune) from which it was a three minute walk. Five minute walk to Koutabia Mosque/Jaama El Fna, in a quiet alley-way. Two minutes the other way to the Kasbah area/Saadian Tombs. Totally (refurbished) original riad. Plunge-pool, Roof terrace with loungers, antique/original furnishings, rugs, etc.Breakfast was absolutely fine, albeit minimal. A variation on a theme of Mint tea/Coffee, Pancakes, Roti, Bread & Jam, Egg, Freshly squeezed OJ, Bananas, Oranges.Reception was manned all day, each room had a padlock and Main Door key, so as secure as it could possibly be.Hot and powerful shower...Clean towels and bedding every day.Hafida and Said...Brother/Sister were the perfect hosts. Everyone staying there (maximum number,12) was really happy so made for a very congenial atmosphere.Loved it....Would recommend without hesitation...Would stay again...Thanks.

We stayed with our family with Hafeda hosting us and she and the other staff were very hospitable. They have a natural warmth to them and did their best to host us and make us feel comfortable. They even cooked a vegetarian meal for us since we were struggling with the food around town!

Once you enter the riad you are served with moroccan tea and cookies. The ladies who live/work there are really nice and speak english, which was not the case in other places in Morocco. Breakfast was also decent. Kids enjoyed their time in a swimming pool.

This is a little gem of a place. The initial location down a narrow lane was a bit off putting but once you are inside the riaad that all changes. We were on a half board basis and were very glad we did as the food presented was excellent

The property and the location
United Kingdom, Thursday, March 14, 2024
Location was great - 10 mins from the centre but in a quiet little street. Our room was at the top of the building where the sundeck was and the pool was very refreshing after a day at the crazy souks. Breakfast was pleasant as was dinner the one night I had it - but I was the only guest dining that night so there wasn't much of an atmosphere! Hafida is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend you ask the riad to organise your taxi from the airport as it's not that easy to find the first time.

Lovely little riad close to the main city center. The family working in the riad is super glad to help and ready to organize tranfers and trips for you. Typical moroccan breakfast. Very cute pool but we didn't use because was winter. Heating in the room too.
